Previously, there were rumors that the Legend of Zelda Lego bricks would be announced in September. However, players don’t have to wait that long. Now it is learned that Nintendo and Lego have jointly launched a new brick set, “Lego The Legend of Zelda Deku Tree 2-in-1 Edition”, which will be released on September 1, 2024. The suggested retail price is 300 US dollars (about 2173 yuan). This set contains a total of 2500 bricks. Players can choose to recreate the Deku Tree in “Ocarina of Time” or “Breath of the Wild”. Among them, the Deku Tree in the “Ocarina of Time” version is mainly decorated with verdant green leaves. Inside, there is a hidden spider statue that can descend, simulating the scene in the game. The “Breath of the Wild” version features a shape full of pink flowers. The trunk also has interactive functions of moving eyebrows up and down and opening the mouth. In addition to the Deku Tree itself, this set also contains other important elements from the two games, such as the sacred sword altar and Link’s cabin. At the same time, it also has multiple small figures of characters and creatures, including Koroks, providing fans with a richer collection and assembly experience. Nintendo producer Eiji Aonuma said that he is very happy that the Zelda series can be combined with Lego bricks, giving fans the opportunity to build this widely loved world by themselves. Lego designer Wes Talbott also mentioned that the team is very looking forward to the response of fans to this set. It is believed that this Lego set that combines the essence of “Ocarina of Time” and “Breath of the Wild” will definitely become an important value-added product of the Zelda series.
